AUMC Child & Youth Protection Policy

Individual music lessons:

It is the responsibility of the student or parent to contact the teacher at least 24 hours in advance in the event that the student cannot attend a scheduled lesson.   There is no charge for lessons cancelled by the student/parent with 24 hours notice.  Failure to give 24 hours notice will result in the fee for that lesson being charged.  If possible, the lesson will be rescheduled.  Lessons cancelled by the teacher will be scheduled for a make-up lesson whenever possible.  Please understand that as musicians, the teachers all have many jobs and may not be able to fit make-up lessons into their schedule, and may occasionally have to reschedule/cancel lessons due to other work commitments.

Martial Arts and Yoga Class:

The monthly tuition for these classes remain the same, regardless of attendance.  Due to our deeply discounted rates, we cannot make adjustments for attendance.  Absences of more than two weeks for which advance notice has been given or which are due to illness will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Anona Pre-School/After School Program Children:

If your child will be attending lessons/classes while at the Anona Pre-School/After School Program, please see Sandy Ross or Marion Denton to sign a release form.
