The Academy offers both individual Music Lessons for children and adults, Martial Arts classes (Tae Kwon Do) for children age 6 and up, a Yoga class for adults and Academic Tutoring K-12. Classes and lessons are held on the Anona Campus. Some instruments are available for students to borrow.
ANONA PRE-SCHOOL/DAYCARE PROGRAM
Upon request, children in the Anona PreSchool/Daycare Program can be picked up and returned for their lessons/classes by their teachers, if the parent signs a Release, available at the Preschool office.
The Anona Academy of the Arts is a ministry of the Music Department of the Anona United Methodist Church. The purpose of the Academy is three-fold:
(1) To prepare future worship leaders for service in the church;
(2) To build resiliency in our youth by instilling competency, industry, and personal identity through quality instruction in the arts; and
(3) To partner with parents and adults in providing and receiving instruction that will enrich the lives of both adults and youth.
Christian themes and curriculum are encouraged. The Academy admits students of any race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin.
